Hi there, nice to meet you, my name is Haggar Yulzary and I am the founder of The Speech and Hearing Clinic -בית האוזן והשפה. I graduated from my Speech and Hearing degree in South Africa 18 years ago and completed my Masters degree at the University of Haifa ten years ago. I work both in Hebrew and English.
I have always worked both as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and an Audiologist performing hearing tests and fitting hearing aids. I love both worlds as they both have to do with improving my clients communication abilities. Whether it be a child that has said their first words, or whether it be a patient that can now communicate with their grandchildren because of their new hearing aids – I have a sense of fulfillment from being part of my clients communication journeys.
I have worked in private practice for over 12 years – many families have come through my doors and played on the carpet with me. I have fitted many hearing aids and have been a part of the process of becoming accustomed to hearing aids. But I always had a dream of one day building myself a Speech and Hearing clinic that would be able to provide both of my passions under one roof. That is how בית האוזן והשפה came to being. My greatest goal is to be able to provide my clients with the holistic, professional and personal treatment that
they deserve. Especially in todays day and age where everything has become digitized and we communicate with bots – now more than ever, people need to communicate with people!
