The Hearing Clinic
At The Speech and Hearing Clinic we perform standardized and thorough hearing tests in order to evaluate hearing ability from the age of 1.5 years through to the golden years.

Adult Hearing Tests
Different hearing tests are performed in order to provide information about hearing ability. The results indicate whether hearing is within the norm or if there is a hearing loss.
Tympanometry and ETF
This test provides information regarding middle ear functioning and can indicate possible causes of hearing loss.
Hearing Aid Fittings
Whether you are a first time user or whether you have years of experience with hearing aids, our experienced Audiologists will fit hearing aids with advanced technology that is appropriate to YOUR hearing needs.
Child Hearing Tests
Thorough hearing tests in children from 1.5 – 6 years of age are performed by two Audiologists according to the Health Departments requirements. Hearing tests will provide information about your childs hearing abilities.

The Speech Clinic
Speech Language Pathologists at the Speech and Hearing Clinic assess and treat children from the age of 1.5 and onwards.
Assessments
The goal of the assessment is to evaluate the child’s abilities in the following areas: Communication, understanding of language, the way they express themselves, their play abilities and articulation. The assessment will highlight areas of difficulty relative to what is expected of their age.
